My name is Rob Spencer. I grew up and currently live in Lockport, NY which is about 30 miles northeast of Buffalo, NY and 20 miles east of Niagara Falls, NY.

I took an interest in computers while in the Army, after I got back from a deployment in Saudi Arabia, in late 2002. I was going to community college, working on my degree in Telecommunications and Networking. After getting out of the Army in February 2004, I took a job as an Audio/Video installer at Howell Electronics, in El Paso, TX. While working as an Audio/Video installer and going to school, I spent most of my free time learning web development and programming.

In December of 2005, I finished my associates degree in Telecommunications and Networking. I wanted to work on my B.S. and I was making a full time income from part time web development, so I decided to move my daughter and myself back to NY. I enrolled in a B.S. program for Computer Information Systems at Buffalo State College.

Since then, I have developed many websites for clients all over the world. Everything from small affiliate portals to medium sized business sites. I have also taken a great interest in WordPress and have developed many websites and applications that run on the wordpress platform.

I graduate Buffalo State College in May 2009. From there, I plan to seek a full time development position here in western NY.
